Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

DoughLab ("we", "the app") is built by an independent developer. This policy explains what information the app uses and why. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and the app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Information that stays on your device

Your pizza logs, scores, passport stamps, display name, home city, favorite style, avatar, and app preferences are stored only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Location

If you allow it, DoughLab uses your location while the app is open to find pizzerias near you. Location is used on your device and sent to Apple Maps to run the search. We do not store or collect your location. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings.

Social feed and community ratings (Apple iCloud)

When you post to the Social feed, like, vote, comment, rate a pizzeria, or report content, that content is stored in DoughLab's public database on Apple iCloud (CloudKit). It can include the text and photos you choose to post, the display name and avatar you set, a location tag if you add one, and your ratings. Other DoughLab users can see this public content. Apple identifies your account with an anonymous iCloud identifier; we don't see your Apple Account email or name. See Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.

Photos

The app only accesses photos you pick. They're used for your logs on your device, or posted publicly if you choose to share them on the Social feed.

Pizzeria information

To show menus and photos, the app loads pizzerias' public websites and Apple Maps data. No personal information is sent with these requests.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment information.

Children

DoughLab is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and deletion

You can turn off location, stop posting, or delete the app at any time. To have content you posted to the Social feed removed, or for any privacy question, email DevTestAccount33@yahoo.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
